Ben Meakin

Hi Everyone,

I’m Ben and I’m your Guild President this year. What that basically means is that I am here to represent you on a local, regional and national scale; making sure that you get the best experience possible here in Aberystwyth. I will be lobbying the university throughout the year to make sure the decisions they make are in your interests. Alongside the rest of the sabbatical team there will be plenty of campaigns to watch out for, covering everything from the annual I Love Aber week to more serious stuff such as getting housing support.
Your time at uni will be the best time of your life (so far) and will lead to many ups and downs. Always remember that if you run into any problems throughout your time here; me and the rest of the team always have an open door so pop along to see us whenever you want.
