Here at Aber we have a great deal to offer in terms of the sports clubs that currently exist and joining one or more of these can enhance your time at university immensely. There are a number of ways to join a club and these are detailed below:

• During Freshers Week, there will be a Sports Fayre, to be held this year on Tuesday 28th September. This day provides our current sports clubs with an opportunity to present themselves to you and to give you a chance to have a chat and ask any questions you wish. You can join just one of the clubs or you can join all of them, it's entirely up to you.
• In addition to the fayres during Freshers Week, there is also a Re-Freshers Fayre, which takes place midway through the year, this gives you a second chance to sign up with a club should you have missed the earlier fayres or simply fancy trying something different.
• Finally, should you have missed both of the above, don't worry. Our website is home to a full list of all the clubs and also the contact details of their respective committees. Therefore, you can e-mail them to find out any information you want including when they next meet. Additionally, many clubs have their own websites that can be accessed through this page allowing you to have a browse at what they have to offer.

To join a sports club, you must own a Club Sporty Card available from University Sports Centre. These can be purchased prior to the beginning of the year using the application form found in your university mail out pack, at the Freshers Fayre's during Freshers Week or at the Sports Centre, located on the campus.
