Hi all,

Welcome to the Guild Activities section. At the Guild we are extremely focused on providing the best time possible in Aberystwyth outside your academic studies. Sports clubs and societies is the driving force in this.

We have over 100 clubs and societies to cater for everyone’s interest. We have sports ranging from rugby football and hockey to ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse and table tennis. In Aber we are also incredibly lucky to be situated next to the sea and being just a stone’s throw away from Snowdonia National Park; water and adventure sports are extremely popular here!

If sport isn’t your thing we have numerous societies with varying interests, whether it’s theatrical or English and creative writing. There will be a group in Aber with a same interest as you!

If you cannot find something that remotely interests you and you can find 20 like minded people, you can create your own club or society, the guide can be found on the left hand side here.

These clubs and societies are the heartbeat of the student experience in Aberystwyth, they provide groups of friends for your time here, an opportunity to pursue your interest and make sure you enjoy your time here in Aberystwyth University.

Here in the Activities team, we put on many other events for you including Sports Week, British University College Leagues, Food Co-Op, Varsity, Rugby 7s, Superteams, Athletic Union Awards, Student Awards, and Quizzes. We put on as much for you as possible.

We are here to help so just come in and see us! We are situated on the ground floor of the Guild of Students, through the double doors at the end of the Underground. Pop in and have chat!!
