The Guild Shop has its own in-store DVD Rental library where you have access to a wide range of the latest releases and catalogue titles.

It's free to join - and you can either sign up online here or come in to the shop with your AberCard (your University library card) and fill in a registration form.

Rentals are charged at just 99p per title per night and for every 5 DVDs you rent, you get another one FREE!

Search the Catalogue and check your account

Follow this link to Koha (our rentals system) where you can:

• search the catalogue and find out what's new
• check your current rentals, fines, charges and personal details
• reserve DVDs that are already on loan

Note: You must be on the University network, or connected by VPN, to access Koha. The system is normally available between 8am and 10pm every day.

To log in you'll need your membership card number (if you joined us with your AberCard, it's the barcode number shown on your card) and a password. To start you off we've set your surname (in lower case) as your password, but you can change this after logging in.

By the way, if you're interested, we use Koha - a free, open source library system.

Koha looks after our catalogue, membership details and, of course, keeps track of where our DVDs are. It also automatically sends out e-mails in the wee small hours of the morning to the naughty members with overdue loans.
