The Office is open during term time from 9.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30am-4.00pm Friday.

If you have any questions or need any advice or information and don't know where or who to ask, call at the Guild Reception located just inside the main door of the Penglais Students Union .

We hold various bits of useful and useless information. If we don't have the answers we can usually find someone who does!

Faxing
For a small charge faxes and be sent locally and abroad.

NUS Extra Cards
If you are having problems applying for your NUS extra card ask one of our staff members to guide you through the process using the dedicated computer and webcam located at reception.
NUS extra cards can also be collected, please ensure you bring your batch number.

BUS Cards
Travel on Arriva OR Mid Wales  buses in Aberystwyth.

This year 2 bus companies, Arriva and Mid Wales Travel are offering Student Travel Cards.  We have produced the following comparison table outlining the main benefits you will receive from each card.   Attachments of all the information we have received has also been attached, hopefully this information will help you make an informed choice.  If you decide to apply for either card, both can be purchased from us at the Guild of Students Reception from the start of term or by printing out the on-line application form and returning to us by post. Room Bookings and Stalls
If you are a member of a Guild club or society and would like to hold a meeting why not see if the committee or meeting room at the back of the Guild is available.
If you are running an event you'd like to promote, need sponsorship, want to increase your membership or just make yourself known to the student body you can do so by having a stall in the foyer of the guild or in the mall. N.B. Outside organisations will need to contact Kate Heaven.

Lost Property
If you lose property in the Students Union Building it will be kept in a secure room in the Building Services department. If the item or article contains I.D. such as a credit card or AHA card you will be sent an e-mail to inform you that it has been found. Other lost property not containing I.D. is held on a database, please check at Reception if you think you have lost something in the Building.
