If you are withdrawing from University:
The Academic office outlines the steps you need to take to withdraw either permanently or temporarily from University:
It is important to remember that you need to contact your LEA and Student Loans Company as soon as you withdraw. If you are planning to return to University, your LEA should send the relevant forms in the months preceding your return, but be aware that you may need to chase these up!
IMPORTANTÂ
If you are taking Temporary Withdrawal, it is your responsibility to contact the University before you return. For example if you are planning to return in the September, you need to contact the academic office by the end of June. This will ensure that your department / accommodation office / finance office can be informed of your return.
If you have taken Temporary Withdrawal on medical grounds, you also need to forward a doctors note stating that you are now medically able to return to your studies.
If you need any help with the withdrawal procedure you can ring the SACC on 01970 621740 or the academic office on 01970 622013.
